Sexual Health Matters will consider for publication original research, review articles, short reports, case reports, case series, clinical audit reports and commentaries. This is on the understanding that they have not been published or submitted for publication elsewhere, and this must be confirmed in writing.

All papers submitted will be subjected to peer review.
Manuscripts:
Length: Papers should not exceed 1500 words. A list of between 4 and 8 key words -chosen from the medical subject heading should follow the title.
Body: The body of the manuscript should be organised under appropriate headings and subheadings - introduction, methods, results and discussion.
Tables and figures: All tables and figures should be submitted on separate sheets of paper and should be clearly labelled.
References: References must be numbered in the order in which they appear in the text and should not exceed 15 in number. The “Vancouver style” as set out in “Uniform requirements for manuscripts submitted to biomedical journals (JAMA 1993; 269:2282-6) should be followed.
All papers will be edited and a proof will be sent to the corresponding author before publication.
