Editorial

Education is the key to several issues in life. It is therefore important that healthcare workers pay attention to this important aspect of their profession. Likewise, it is a sine qua non for everybody in the understanding of systems and processes. Richard Bellamy in his paper has detailed this process in his article. Similarly, Helen Vasallo believes that sex education is a matter for all. This important subject requires "all hands on deck". The belief is that educated children grow into educated adults who then pass on the knowledge to their children, and the cycle continues! Infectious syphilis is still present in the United Kingdom and much work still need to be done to stem the rising tide of infections. Although genital thrush infection is a common occurrence, it may become recurrent to the point of chronicity. Habob et al has suggested some pathways out of this dilemma for patients and healthcare workers.
Searchlight has plenty to offer about various conditions on sexual health.

Our graphic/technical editor, Hazel Rogers is retiring. We shall miss her sense of humour. The editorial board thanks her for her enormous contributions in making the journal a success. We wish her good health and God's blessings.
